Christian Mysticism: Conversations on God

Mysticism seeks to combine the wealth of knowledge from all religions with the hope of bringing these texts to a modern mind with the promise of uniting our world community. This article is part of a on line debate, resulting from a posted question: "What is your most important question about God?" As everyone knows all debates can get down to the core of the question over time. This article is part of that debate.

Official: Mansory tunes McLaren MP4-12C for Geneva

The Geneva Motor Show party can't really begin until Mansory shows up, and here they are with a McLaren MP4-12C that has been turned into "a work of art." Since Mansory makes most of its paintings in carbon fiber, that means new hood, roof, rear wing and mirror housings as well as wider fenders that stretch the car by 60 mm. Let's not forget the unique daytime driving lights, either. Mansory touts its work as being not only beautiful but better for acceleration, braking and fuel economy.

Final touches include a new ECU and high-performance exhaust, which bumps horsepower by 68 and torque by three pound-feet, boosting top speed to nearly 219 mph. The wheels are Mansory two-piece lightweight forged numbers measuring 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the back.

There's an official info sheet after the jump and you know we'll get a closer look at it on the Geneva floor.

Video: ZR1 versus C6.R racer in Corvette straight-line race

ZR1 vs. C6.R

Road & Track lined up the Corvette ZR1 next to the Corvette C6.R ALMS racing car to see how they'd compete in a straight line. Notice we didn't say "drag" or "drag race," since this isn't at the track and we can't tell the distance of the contest.

The C6.R is based on the ZR1, but comes in with about 500 horsepower to push its 2,745-pound weight and uses a sequential transmission and slicks. The ZR1 works with 638 horses but has 3,345 pounds to get going through a six-speed manual transmission and street tires.

The race starts at 0:15 seconds and ends at 0:23. You'll find the winner in the video after the jump.
