Are You Making Decisions With A Broken Heart?

Have you made Decisions with a Broken Heart? Well, I have many many times. As I look back, my first thought was WHY would I make such decisions when I was not complete and with a broken heart. What kind of decisions you may ask? Well, you name it. Let's see where to start. I can remember being 9 years old and my parents sitting me down to tell me they were getting a divorce. We are at Broken Heart number 1! At least from what I remember. Yet my heart was broken because I remember my mom acting all upset and my dad getting up and leaving without saying good bye to me. I thought he was angry with me and I was DEVASTATED. Now from this point I simply made bad decision after bad decision. Not really understanding what I was really doing, due to the fact that I was young.

Report: Orion test flight pushed back to 2014, manned flight until 2021

Report: Orion test flight pushed back to 2014
Even something as exhaustively planned as the test-flight of the Orion spacecraft isn't immune to a slipping timeline. It's reportedly been pushed back from next year to 2014 -- when we're expecting to see the capsule launch from Cape Canaveral, loop around the planet twice at 3,700 miles (the furthest any spacecraft has journeyed since the '70s) before splashing down in the Pacific. This unmanned test was designed to see if the vehicle's heat-shield, flight-software and parachutes all work before lives are risked on board. It's also signified a pushing back of the first launch from 2016 until 2021. This means there's nine more years before someone calls us up as a crew replacement -- at least that's how our dream goes.

Study: NADA: Dealers most happy with Hyundai, Subaru and Lexus

NADA logoCar dealers have a strange and oftentimes contentious relationship with the carmakers. Stories of automakers shoveling unsaleable models down the pipeline with unreasonable expectations are legion in the car sales world. With the number of family-owned, single-brand dealerships dwindling, dealers often field competing franchises. The concept of loyalty is as quaint as a Lincoln Town Car. So it's worth noting the automotive brands that are actually liked by the guys selling them.

The National Automobile Dealers Association conducts its Dealer Attitude Survey twice each year, and results from the summer survey are in. Hyundai stayed on top for the third time in a row, followed by Subaru, Lexus, Kia, and Mercedes-Benz. The survey measures three factors: "franchise value, automaker policy decisions that affect the dealership and the automaker's field staff who visit dealerships."

Sixth place went to Toyota, while Volkswagen, Porsche, and Audi followed. Cadillac and Honda tied for tenth. NADA received responses from over 14,700 dealerships, representing almost 54 percent of all dealers nationwide.
